HARRISBURG – In an effort to mitigate the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus, Rep. Jim Struzzi (R-Indiana) has announced changes to his district office policies as well as the postponement of multiple district events.
Struzzi’s district offices will continue to offer their services to Indiana County constituents through electronic communication but will be temporarily closed to walk-in visits. His offices are still accepting visits by appointment. Additionally, the following events have been postponed:
· Thursday, March 19 – Blairsville Town Hall Meeting.
· Tuesday, March 31 – Human Services Breakfast Meeting.
· Thursday, April 2 – Concealed Carry Seminar.
· Tuesday, April 7 – Employment Expo.
“In light of recommendations we are receiving from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health authorities, limiting direct contact among individuals is the reasonable and prudent action to take at this time,” said Struzzi.
