Struzzi Announces Town Hall Meetings
October 4, 2021
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jim Struzzi (R-Indiana) invites residents of the 62nd Legislative District to attend one of the upcoming town hall meetings he is hosting in October and November.
“Face-to-face opportunities like this are just one more way for me to best serve as your voice in Harrisburg,” Struzzi said. “It’s my job as your state representative to hear your concerns and questions, and face-to-face opportunities like this are the easiest way to find out what they are.”
Here are the dates and locations for the meetings, both of which begin at 6 p.m.:
• Thursday, Oct. 14 - Blairsville Volunteer Fire Department, 51 W Campbell St., Blairsville (please RSVP by Tuesday, Oct. 12).
• Thursday, Nov. 18 - Cherryhill Township Volunteer Fire Department, 1442 N. Harmony Road, Penn Run (please RSVP by Tuesday, Nov. 16).
Struzzi is already anticipating spending an appreciable amount of time on Gov. Tom Wolf’s attempt to enroll Pennsylvania in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).
“I know there are many questions and I’ll be happy to explain why I’m not giving up the fight,” added Struzzi. “It’s a sore subject with me because RGGI stands to negatively impact not only the citizens I represent but every taxpaying Pennsylvanian.”
For planning purposes, Struzzi is asking anyone who plans to attend to RSVP on or before the dates noted above, by either calling his district office at 724-465-0220 or visiting his website, RepStruzzi.com, and clicking on the “Events” tab.”
